MEGA BEASTS Y2K

On December 31 1999, the animal kingdom gathers for its annual tournament to celebrate the passing of the new year. However, this is not just any year. This is the eve of the year 2000, and the millennium bug is approaching.

As preparations for the tournament proceed, the bug begins to spread its havoc across the land and into the very DNA of the animals. Creatures that were two become one, combining into MEGA BEASTS. Fuelled by the power of their new abilities, the MEGA BEASTS storm the arena to compete in the tournament of the millennium.

Is this a new era in the animal kingdom where MEGA BEASTS rule the world, or just a temporary bug? Only the passing of the night into the year 2000 will tell.

MEGA BEASTS Y2K involves drawing and combining animals with your friends, then competing with them in a tournament where you argue who would win in various categories. It's a game for 2-10 players and takes 30-90 minutes (depending on the number of players). All you'll need to play is the pdf from the downloads section below and some extra pens and paper!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PDF

1. Download the (zine) pdf file. The (document) pdf can also be downloaded if needed, but is less fun than folding a zine.
2. The zine pdf is designed to be printed double-sided. However, you could also print onto 2 pages and glue them together back to back.
